For those scholors out there: how many times does the phrase "Here I am." appear in the Bible as a response to the Lord's call?
I think it's teaching us that we must be available in order to be used. If we are too busy with other things we may not be in a position to be used. And that's only if we're not too busy to hear Him call in the first place. We may be busy in His Kingdom, but too busy for the Kingdom. Is God calling you? Will your answer be "Here I am."?
